While she was in Routes 9 and 10, she took the chance to fight the local trainers and check out the wild pokemon. As she'd been advised, they were easy for her team to take care of, and it had given her a chance to figure out just what they were capable of.

She ran through the dark but straight path to Celadon. The department store there was well known as a place where nearly everything was sold. It was also a straight road from the town's entrance to the store. As long as she didn't get distracted, this wouldn't take long.
